Hector Ramirez II

Hector Ramirez II has achieved his Master’s degree in Digital Media and Journalism at Sacred Heart University in 2018 and his bachelor’s degree at the University of New Haven in Investigative Services with a minor in Communication/Production in 2016.

Hector has produced, edited, directed, and wrote various visual projects throughout his graduate career including a video profile piece for the world famous Connecticut landmark Stew Leonard's, as well as taking on the leading role of Stage Manager for the SHU Media Exchange live event. He wants to continue his professional endeavors in the entertainment industry with a focus on writing, production, and community management/social media.

Hector has interned for multiple sites such as the City of Bridgeport, AFC Urgent Care, and Advanced Therapy & Performance as a Communication/Production Specialist. From February 2017 - August 2018, he was a Freelance Writer/Editor for the video game website Weapon Wheel Network, publishing nearly 100 articles in his time there.

Hector is currently the Digital Producer for the TV news station WTNH-News 8 in New Haven and a Freelance Entertainment Writer for nerd-culture sites cbr.com and lordsofgaming.net creating video and written content.
